EnvisionTEC launched Continuous Digital Light Manufacturing (cDLM) technology in early 2016 with the Micro Plus cDLM. The 3D printer is based on a patent-protected approach that we came up with a decade ago. A twist on our DLP technology, this process allows for continuous motion of the build plate to deliver exceptional build speeds.
How fast?
With average build speeds ranging between 10 and 20 minutes per inch in Z for the full envelope, the results will allow bridal and fashion rings to be designed, grown, and ready for investment casting the same day.
The cDLM prints using EnvisionTEC’s industry standard casting material, PIC 100. Even better, the Micro Plus cDLM will print faster in QView, a design verification material, for fit and design models ready to show to a customer in minutes.
